Since I had to put a support in the front talon, I *had* to cover that up with some cat tails, which *had* to be in a pond, which *had* to be painted in a fun way. It was fnu to paint, and it was also a lot more work than just flock and sand and static-grass basing. I'm happy with it. All of the rocks, lily pads, and fish are freehand. Finally it was painted with a gloss nail poish that I borrowed from someone who wasn't using it for the wet look, which is hard to see in this picture.
