Week 1: Mice and Mystics  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: PLaid Hat Games
I won this round. These figures were super fun to paint, and I was really excited about the game too! Mice & Mystics promised to be pretty waesome. But in the end, it was just a miniature skirmish game with scenarios describing each battle... Not exactly the dungeon crawl RPG that I hoped! Still, the figs are awesome!
Week 2: Trygve and his Warband  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Gripping Beast
This round I lost for two reasons: the quality of the washed-out photo is terrible. And the staging is boring and lame. I am pretty happy with the painting, but the photo quality and staging was just meh. The awesome image that' I was up against had deep, rich colours and was amazingly staged. Poor Trygve, let down by poor follow though :)
Week 3: Gleph McCluggin And His Shooters  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Mantic Games
This was a terrible composition and picture as well! I just threw some figs that I'd been painting for my Kings of War dwarves together. Look at how terribly over-exposed the image is!
Week 4: Mehmet spoils market day  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Artizan Designs
This one I was really happy with. I should have thrown in some extras in the background, like a kid hiding ord something interesting!
Week 5: Greek Mercenary Hoplites  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Warlord Games
The colours on this picture were messed up... What was I thinking?!? Still, they look pretty good.
Week 6: Sea of Undead  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Multiple Manufacturers
This was when I lost momentum and had to post pictures of miniatures that I had previously painted/posted. I still put together a new photo for them though, as a group! I lost this round despite the figures being some of my best-painted miniatures ever. Not really sure why...
Week 7: Walk of the Ages  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Multiple Manufacturers
Another set of previously painted/posted figs. I lost this round too, again despite this being some of my best painting. I'm quite proud of the painting, but I think the colour of the photo weirded everyone out.
Week 8: Protect the Keep  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Perry Miniatures
Those shields won me this round. I think the figs are pretty well-painted too though, but I put a lot of effort into those shields!
Week 9: Sally Forth!  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Games Workshop
I won this round too, a lot of effort was spent blending and shading, and freehanding those shields and the flag.
Week 10: Arab Revolt!  -  Posted: April 2014  -  Manufacturer: Artizan Designs
The final entry here... I put in so much work into this, and it didn't actually turn out all that well. I won the round, but got a lot of criticism for the fake Arabic! It would have been so easy to use real Arabic too... Still, I'm not too unhappy with this one!
