Every Dreadball game needs a RefBot. This is a really fun and flavourful figure. I really like that it has a face on bother sides of its head! It was tough to paint and tougher to photograph, but it turned out pretty well.

These were a lot of fun to paint, and you can't play a game without them!

The first of the strikers for the Nidavellir Flames. Throdik the Swift they call him. Note that I painted the bottom of the base to keep the clear viruals of a cool base...

Bjarni the Bold, too big to be a true striker, she did what she could to wear the scoop and proved herself as an able jack.

A close up of the scoop. I actually cut it out of thin, clear plastic in the shape of the socket in the ForgeFather glove. I used Cyano Acrylate (super glue) to hold it on, and painted the piece that fit into the socket.

This is the first Forgefather Dreadball player I painted. It's a guard, I really liked the red/yellow/white look as it matched my Lord of the Rings dwarves, more of less. Also, it matches the colours of a hockeyteam that I once was into when I was still into sports... which was lifetimes ago. In any case, I'm pretty happy with it.

Gorim Ironstone - a speacial character in the Dreadball world - wearing the Nidavellir Flames colours. This figure will add flavour to my forgefathers even if I don't use his special rules. There are only three poses for the forgefathers so far you know! I used a little piece of clear-plastic packaging with some various blue coloured paints for the dreadball glove. It was tough to curve it like in the artwork, so I didn't bother! I'm pretty happy over all.

The second guard that I painted. I changed up the shoulder pads a bit. This is the only guard pose, and man is there a lot of unecessary detail. Sorry Mantic, but since the forgefathers for Warpath have this much detail I think I'll pass on them. It's great for dipping and drybrushing maybe, but it's very tiresome to highlight...
