The anarchists looking for action! The whole Makhnivist side of the
Russian Civil War was always something I had on the back burner... There aren't
really any specific figures for it, other than those snazzy characters over
on Brigade Games' site. So, I used Copplestone's Back of Beyond Russian Partisans. I think
they fit the bill nicely.

This guy is looking like he could easily pass for a WWI Russian soldier, perhaps
with a different hat. But a few odd colours here and there and it's a partisan anarchist!
Faded black shirt shows he's an anarchist.

I love the moustache. This guy could almost play a French partisan...

The red hat is a bold statement; no anarchist wants to be confused for a communist
after all!

I like the scruffy facial hair on most of these figs. A newer black shirt on this guy.

I painted some WWII Russian colours on these guys too, so that they could potentially
double as WWII partisans.

The poses are a bit static to be honest, but certainly functional. I'm pretty happy
with how these guys turned out.

I like the aiming pose a lot.

Those fur hats are the best. I tried to give it a used, dirty look too, but it's
tough... I might have to come up with a different scheme.
