I wasn't sure what those spikes were to be honest? Glass? Bone? Metal? What are they? I also chose a gray corps. I have done some various zombies before (see my undead stuff) and I always liked the idea of dried out gray walking corpses... I'm happy with thiw, but there is room for improvement!
