These are some of the figs I painted for Conflict 2006!
I wasn't too happy about the quality of the previous picture. So
here is an updated picture. I left the old one for comparison!
Finally painted, and I am quite happy with it. Note that I stuck
with the wicker theme for all the army, including the helmet and mask.
I loved this fig when I first saw it. But after looking
at it again I realized that it wasn't really Haradrim looking enough
for me. So, after sculpting the back decoration using greenstuff
I decided to keep within the Weta design and paint it in line with Weta's
'no metalcraft' idea. I imagined the sword was a gift from the Lords
of Umbar and the chainmail was a token taken off of a fallen enemy. The rest
of the armour I painted using the wicker pattern of the rest of the army.
