These figures were the ones I was dreading the most from the Battle Masters Chaos army, and I really considered not bother to paint them at all. I was going to replace them with 4th edition fantasy goblin archers with those funny smurf hats that later became known as night goblins. Anyway, when the Oathmark Marauders were released and I realized that GW was going back ot the punk-rock esthetic for Chaos, and away from the Norse esthetic, I changed my mind, and I'm glad I did. These are fantastic barbarian punk rockers and their hair is amazing and was a lot of fun to paint! Yes, it's pride-inspired!
